In the present environmental condition, we know that there is declining of trees in our country. More illegal logging companies still continue to operate. Natural calamities such as typhoons, floods and landslides destroy the aesthetic beauty of nature. Some people say that we are nearer to the end of the world since they find it very hopeless.
But that didn't bother me. As long as we live, there are still lots of hopes. It's never been too late. And so, I grabbed that hop, and planted a tree of hope.
Trees are just like human beings. Here's the logic.
HUMAN BEINGS: When they were still babies, they are taken good care by their parents. They are fed, they were given clothing, they were nurtured until they grow up. Parents grew old and have some illness. The children which are now adults are the one taking good care of their parents.
TREES: When they were seedlings, they are taken good care by their caretaker. They are watered, the were given fertilizer, they were nurtured until they grow strong. The caretaker bear children yet he's already very old and soon died. The trees are now very tall and is covering their house. Now, it's giving them shade, it's giving them protection, it's giving them fresh air and it's giving them a memory of their father.
When the trees were younger, we may not find them very important same as true with the children in our society. But 20-30 years from now, they'll play their purpose. They may be not like the human beings in some ways, but surely, they are the reason why until now, we are still living in this world.
That's why i planted a tree. I may not see its benefits now, but someday, my children will be able to acquire it's purpose. Someday, it will be able to protect the future generation that the present generation will bear
I may be gone one day, but one thing's for sure, I planted a tree and I was able to save my community. =)
